| Nebula
Imps:
A distant relative of the faerie folk, these diminutive beings can manipulate space and time to create 'nebulas'; better known as 'warp gates' and 'portals'. Usually these portals are only used for defense, to escape predators and potential threat. But a trained Nebula Imp can be a helpful asset indeed as they provide their keeper with access to these portals. These imps mostly dwell in highly wooded areas but have been known to wander hundreds of miles in search of new territory. They are omnivorous and will eat almost anything but their favorite dish is fresh mint leaves, which they scour the woods for. Nocturnal by nature, they rarely venture outside during the daylight hours. Instead they sleep in temporary burrows constucted in the hours before dawn. They are social animals, living out most of their lives in close knit family groups. Their exotic colors attract the eyes of predators and as the young are not matured enough to make proper gates, most could never reach adulthood without the protection of family groups. |
